How to find us

 

By Air
Norwich International Airport is approximately 6 miles from Harrier House with both internal flights to Britain and connections, via Amsterdam, for overseas flights.

By Rail
Norwich railway station is located approximately 2 miles or 30 minutes walk from Harrier House. Services from Norwich include a direct line to London Liverpool Street with the journey taking approximately 2 hours. Additionally there are direct services to Cambridge and across East Anglia as well as connections, via Peterborough, to the Midlands.

By Bus
First Bus numbers 14/14A and 15/15A serve Yarmouth Road (Thunder Lane bus stop), these run frequently from Norwich City Centre.

By Road
Harrier House is located on Whitlingham Lane, off the A1242, Yarmouth Road.

Norwich is accessed via the A11 (from the South-West); from the A47 (from the East and West) and the A146 (from the South-East).

Approaching Norwich from the A11 or A47 (eastbound), continue until you reach the Thickthorn Interchange roundabout and follow the signs for A47 Great Yarmouth. Follow the A47 East for approx. 7.5 miles. Take the slip road labelled as Norwich-East/A1042, follow the inside lane from the slip road and continue straight over the next 2 roundabouts. Pass beneath the railway bridge and bare left following the route signposted A1242/Yarmouth Road. Follow this for approximately 0.5 miles, until reaching a set of traffic lights at the junction of Thunder Lane and Whitlingham Lane, turn left here and follow the road to the bottom where the gated car park is situated..

From the A146, continue following this road until you reach the outskirts of Norwich and see signs for Great Yarmouth/A47, take the A47 East for approx. 2.5 miles. Take the slip road labelled as Norwich-East/A1042, follow the inside lane from the slip road and continue straight over the next 2 roundabouts. Pass beneath the railway bridge and bare left following the route signposted A1242/Yarmouth Road. Follow this for approximately 0.5 miles, until reaching a set of traffic lights at the junction of Thunder Lane and Whitlingham Lane, turn left here and follow the road to the bottom where the gated car park is situated.

From the A47 ( Westbound), take the exit, labelled Norwich N & E (A1042) / Cromer (A140), follow the slip road and continue until you reach the roundabout at the end, take the 3rd exit (i.e. following the signs for Norwich N. & E. (A1042) / Thorpe St. Andrew). Continue towards the next roundabout and take the 1st exit signposted as ‘Broadland Business Park South & other routes’. From here, continue through the next 2 roundabouts. Follow the route signposted A1242/Yarmouth Road. Follow this for approximately 0.5 miles, until reaching a set of traffic lights at the junction of Thunder Lane and Whitlingham Lane, turn left here and follow the road to the bottom where the gated car park is situated.
