Compartment 30 comprises a 1236m stretch of floodbank, immediately adjoining the northern edge of Compartment 29, between The Fleet and Northern Blundeston Sluice. The historical sites include Flixton Decoy and a related site of possible 14th century peat extraction.
Unfortunately, there are no public access routes for walking within this compartment. However, The Angles Way long distance footpath runs just outside the landward boundary of both compartments 29 and 30 from Blundeston Marshes to Oulton Broad. Due to the lack of public access to the floodbank and moorings, no bankside fishing can take place within the compartment.
