Compartment Description

Compartment 25 on the left bank of the River Waveney comprises 4820m of floodbank and covers an area of 214 hectares.
Within the compartment there are several historical sites such as post medieval Manor House farmhouse, 18th century Hill Farm House and late 18th century Brick Barn (all Grade II listed). Archaeological finds recorded for this compartment are Roman pottery, coins and brooch, Saxon coins and medieval pottery.

There is an opportunity for walking within the compartment as a public right of way runs along the length of the floodbank.
