Compartment 25B comprises approximately 4900m of floodbank on the right bank of the River Waveney. Within the compartment there are several historical sites, such as the remains of medieval Barsham Hall and moat as well as post medieval Roos Hall. Archaeological findings recorded within this flood compartment include prehistoric pottery, a Saxon bronze brooch and coin hoard, a Roman key, gold ring and brooch as well as medieval pottery.
There is no public access along the floodbank, however, Angles Way, a long distance footpath, extends along the compartments southern boundary.
Flood alleviation improvement works began towards the end of 2006 and are ongoing.
